Our hand cut ziti is available ONLY for porch pick-up, FROZEN (cannot be prepared dried). This pasta is hand crafted with special Semolina flour imported from Italy!
This pasta is offered for porch pick-up only, as these noodles need to be kept frozen until cooking! Tubular pasta cuts such as ziti do not air dry correctly from fresh; due to uneven and restricted air flow, the tubes crack when drying. (Frozen fresh pasta can be dropped straight into boiling water, and cooks quickly from frozen!)
WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU BRING A COOLER OR HEAT/COLD BAG WITH ICE PACKS WHEN PICKING UP, as fresh pasta defrosts extremely rapidly, and can cause the noodles to stick/clump together, creating uneven cooking.
